| Description: | Responsible for major gift development, and providing quality and efficient donor services to members and non-members alike. Work directly with the Kiwanis International Foundation Team to ensure all donor communication and information needs are implemented. Serve as an advocate for the vision, mission, values of the organization and the Kiwanis International Foundation. |
| Duties: | OL.withdisc { list-style-type: disc } Kiwanis International Foundation Team: - Create major donor gift program/campaign
- Identify, cultivate, solicit, secure gifts from prospects, and steward major donors.
- Responsible for major gift development.
- Work with volunteers to expand major gift program.
- Represent the Kiwanis International Foundation at club, division, district and International events as directed.
- Maintain donor and Foundation confidentiality.
- Work directly with the Executive Director to identify, address, and resolve department issues.
- Identify and, upon the approval of the Foundation management team, assist with a non-Foundation team task.
- Motivate, recognize and reward, coach, counsel and train volunteers and department staff on major donor activities.
- Other related duties as assigned by the Foundation Executive Director.

| Qualifications: | OL.withdisc { list-style-type: disc } Educational Requirements: - Bachelors Degree, Master’s Degree a plus, CFRE a plus
Experiential Requirements: - Minimum of 5 years in not-for-profit fund raising position with emphasis on major gift campaigns.
- Demonstrated ability in managing volunteers, and moving prospects toward major gifts.
- Continuous innovation.
- Capable of maintaining positive working relationships.
- Strong communication and support abilities.
- Ability to develop, present and deliver strategic program plans.
- Proven written and oral communication skills.
Skills Requirements: - Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Microsoft Outlook – utilization of calendar and management tools.
- Internet proficiency.
- Knowledge of donor management software
Other Requirements: - Kiwanis Family or service club experience a plus.
- Multilingual a plus.
- Some weekend and evening work required.
- Travel required – estimated at 50%.
